Museums

The Museums will bring you closer to history, to the lifestyle and households of the citizens living in Kastoria in the past. Most of them are located in Doltso, the heart of Kastoria, but it is also worth visiting the ones outside this area. These are: the Pavlos Melas Museum, where the hero of the Greek Struggle for Macedonia, was killed, located in Melas village, the Byzantine Museum in Xenia and the fascinating Wax Museum, with its realistic representations, located in Mavrochori.
